F'real F'real: BUCKET LISTS!

Image
I'm sure we've all heard of a Bucket List. That list of things you want to do, places you want to visit, goals you want to achieve, etc., before you die. We've all heard of them, but how many of us actually have them? I'm always talking about the things I would put on my Bucket List, but never actually took the time to write one out! I'm sure I'll end up adding/removing things from here at some point but here we go! Joslynns Bucket List (as of March 2017) 1. Go skydiving/bungee jumping/base jumping 2. Go kayaking/white water rafting 3. Go surfing/wake boarding 4. Go backpacking thru Europe (all of the UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, etc.) 5. Smoke a J (or 100) in Amsterdam 😜 6. Attend Fashion Week in Milan 7. Go to Israel (swim/float in the Dead Sea) 8. Go Japan & parts of China (Tokyo, Mt. Everest, etc.) 9. Go to Australia & see the Great Barrier Reef! 10. Go to Canada or Alaska, stay in an Igloo, watch the Northern Lights ...

OOTD: Witchy Witch

Is there anything more chic than all black everything?!  Being a born and raised New Yorker, black is my go-to for every occasion. Lets be honest, it's kind of hard to find a black piece of clothing that's unflattering.  For this look I wanted to do something a more simple, with some versatility. I'm usually blowing wherever the wind takes me, so my outfits have to be at least a little appropriate for anything.  I started with my favorite black dress; a V-neck number with a mock lace slip. I added this super cute, sparkly mesh top to give me some (barely any) coverage, and paired that with an ox-blood red belt and these new pointy toed, multi-strapped ballet flats that I am obsessed with. Topped the look off with my favorite bucket bag and my faux shearling and leather coat, and I'm ready for whatever the city has to offer.

Currently Loving: Tarte Foundation

Image
Hey guys! So like I mentioned in an earlier post; I'm bringing you guys a lot more than just style posts!  "Currently Loving" is the part of my blog where I'll be telling you all about products, pieces, places, shows/movies, etc., that I'm currently obsessed with!  This week - Tarte Cosmetics Rainforest of the Sea foundation in Sand. Now before I start RAVING about this foundation let me first say, I am definitely not a girl who wears makeup frequently, regularly, or much at all really, lol; but I do like to wear some every now & then! I was looking for a lightweight, sheer foundation that I could wear for any occasion and would feel like I had nothing on. I went to Sephora and got a Skin IQ test done and found out that the Tarte foundation was my best match! The girl at Sephora applied it with her hands & told me to do the same when I applied it at home, as using your hands gives you a more natural, blended look. I was astonished at how awesome ...

F'real F'real: Self Love man

Image
Hey all! F'real F'real is the segment of my blog where I'll be talking about issues that matter to me. First up; self love ♥ Now I'm sure you're all tired of hearing people tell you to love your body the way it is. That's not what this post is about. I'm here to talk to you guys about putting yourself first mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. I feel like that's the kind of love we forget to give ourselves most. Trust me, I'm all about being body positive, but what about being whole self positive. I'm talking about taking the time to forget about what others want for you, and from you, and focusing your energy on what you want for and from yourself. Sometimes, we aren't sure so sure what it is we want or need, so we rely on others opinions to guide us. Now I'm not saying there's anything wrong with this. I'm always asking my friends and family for advice; the problem is when we lose ourselves in their advice. It's ea...

OOTD: Fishnets for EVERYONE!

Image
2017 is only two months in & it's already brought us a TON a fun new trends to try. A crowd favorite among fashionistas & influencers alike is fishnet tights. Worn mainly under ripped jeans or over sized tees & sweaters, the fishnet trend is the perfect way to add a little bit of sexy to your outfit.  For this look, I went with a more playful vibe. I sold basically all of my ripped jeans, and it's freezing outside,  so I had to make due with some cropped ones, haha. My best friend left these rainbow fishnets at my house this past Halloween and I figured they would be the perfect way to make this trend my own; since most people are wearing regular black ones. Paired with this fun "E·N·E·M·I·E·S" tee (a play on the "F·R·I·E·N·D·S" logo, my favorite bright blue Adidas Gazelles, Thurman Murman (yes, I named my back pack ... he does have a face! lol), and my fuzziest pink coat, I'm ready to hit the streets and show off my look! ...
