My Favorite Kicks of 2017 (so far ...)

If you know me, you know I'm a low-key sneakerhead. Some girls prefer heels, some girls prefer sandals; I, no matter what the season, occasion, or weather conditions, prefer sneakers. High tops, low tops, training, or casual, I love them all. 

I'm always trying to find the newest, coolest, pairs to add to my collection. I like to stay on trend while at the same time finding some kicks that no one has or has seen before. 

Below, I've compiled a list of my favorite pairs that have come out, or are coming out this year! Although they're pretty much all  Nike & Adidas (my two ABSOLUTE favorite athletic wear brands), this list is bound to have something for everyone!


 Pharrell x Adidas Tennis Hu - 05/06/2017

 

Classic Pharell WIlliams x Adidas shape with a Stan Smith inspired look, this is a perfect example of a sneaker that's trendy, but still 100% unique. 

Nike VaporMax in "Glacier Blue" and "Light Violet" - 06/01/2017

I have been dying to pick these up since the first colorway dropped, but haven't gotten the chance! Now I'm definitely holding out until June to cop both of these bad boys!!! Happy Birthday to me! (my birthday's June 4th 😄)

The Nike Air Max 1 Pinnacle  - 05/04/2017


IMO Air Maxs' go with EVERYTHING! With perforations on the toe and around the ankle collar, and this pretty lilac colorway, these are definitely a go-to for spring/summer.

Nike Soft Dart "Safari" Pack - 05/11/2017


The Sock Dart gets an upgrade this season with a vintage graphic "Safari" print. I love graphic sneakers for the summer! Lace-less for easy on and off, with a see-thru mid-foot strap, these are the perfect sneaker for the summer time.

Nike Air Max Plus "Metallic Gold" - 05/18/2017

While I prefer the "Silver Bullet" colorway, I LOVE this gold rendition, especially because its rumored to be a women's exclusive run. With "University Red" accents, this is a very luxe take on this throwback. 

 Adidas NMD City Sock 2 "Pearl Grey" - 05/??/2017

Adidas version of a FlyKnit - this is a great option for the spring/summer. A Boost sole & Primeknit upper, its perfect for anyone who like to slip on their shoes, then kick 'em right off. Super sleek & chic, while still being comfortable, these kicks are definitely deserving of the name City Sock.

 KITH x Adidas ACE 16+ Ultra Boost - 05/19/2017



Similar to the City Sock, these baby pink boasts a Primeknit upper and a Boost sole. With only 500 pairs being released worldwide, these will definitely be the most coveted pair of sneakers this season!

Sneakersnstuff x Adidas "Shades of White" V2 Pack - 05/03/2017



Back in 2015, Swedish brand Sneakersnstuff joined forces with Adidas to bring us the "Shades of White" collection, featuring the Superstar, Stan Smith, and Tubular Runner. The clean, white color was inspired by a basic shade of white house paint that is found in Stockholm (and pretty much anywhere else in the world? lol). This month, the two teamed up again to bring us V2 of the "Shades of White" collection featuring the Superstar, which will feature a woven upper, and the Stan Smith which will come in suede. 

 If you're anything like me, I know you're itching to get your hands on a pair of any or all of these! That is, if you haven't already.

 I know I'll definitely be saving up to buy a few!

Sneakers For The Girls Who DON'T Wear Sneakers

A couple of posts ago, I talked about being a sneakerhead and listed my favorite drops of 2017 so far. I know that, like myself, there are tons of girls out there that love sneakers and are always keeping their eyes peeled for the latest, coolest releases.  But I got to thinking ... what about the girls who don't usually wear sneakers? The girls who only throw on trainers when they're going to the gym.
