Changin' It Up To Get Out Of This Rut!
In my last post, I talked about how I've been in a little writing rut recently. I called it bloggers block, and up until today I had no idea how I was going to get out of it.
When I started this blog, my number one goal above all else was to be consistent. I've had blogs before that I sort of just let fall by the wayside for lack of consistent posting. I was so adamant about keeping up with this blog that I made myself a little content calendar and vowed to stick to it. It was going great until I ran out of ideas for the themes I had set up on the calendar! I'm not even sure how many people read or keep up with my blog - I try to ignore the analytics page as much as possible -because I honestly write this for me, but I do want to give whoever does read it some good content!
I've decided to (sort of) forego my rigid content calendar. Instead of keeping everything exact, (Tuesdays "F'real F'real posts", Thursdays "Currently Loving" posts, etc.) I decided I'd follow the calendar loosely, add other themes, and write about whatever I want to write about, on any given day.
I want to do more style and pop culture posts, and posts on some more serious subjects. I just want to give you guys better content you'll enjoy reading, and I'll enjoy writing, so it can be an enjoyable experience for us all! Haha.
So, keep your eyes peeled for new content coming soon!
